Lauren Taylor League
MFA Thesis Exhibition
November 2 – November 20, 2020
Elizabeth Dunlap Patrick Gallery
In “Nurture,” Lauren Taylor League creates sculptural and performative works that explore the emotional and psychological effects of objects as they relate to familial memory and the various processes one uses to nurture and express love. Through the processes of collecting, nurturing, and repairing found objects, League seeks to honor lost connections between objects and those who made them. League, a 2020 MFA Thesis Candidate, is an interdisciplinary artist from Anderson, South Carolina.
