ILLUSTRATION

You are a storyteller. You dream of developing intricate visual worlds that breathe life into each page. Learn how to create these in courses on illustrating costumed figures, portraiture, heroes and antiheroes, fairytales and children’s literature, and more.

Illustrators combine “traditional” fine arts studio practices, like painting and drawing, with refined design abilities to create visual solutions to communications projects that involve pictures and stories. Selected examples of outlets for illustrators include children’s book illustration, illustration for comic books, sequential or storyboard art, fantasy art and character design, editorial cartoonist, animator or scientific illustrator.
