You are a techie. You dream of creating programs, apps, and systems that can improve the user experience for others. Learn skills in interactivity, programming, e-commerce, writing for the web, and more.
This interdisciplinary degree program combines existing coursework from four departments in three different colleges along with new courses to produce graduates with experience in graphic design, marketing, mass communication, and computing. Students will gain traditional area-specific knowledge for training in careers within the domains of digital communication and electronic commerce.
There are four options students may choose from in the degree program: digital commerce, web application development, and digital mass media, which are housed in the College of Business, and interactive media, which is housed in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
